2019 – Inaugural Advanced Hygienic Design Course in New Zealand

The fledgling New Zealand Regional EHEDG Section enthusiastically welcomed Andy Timperley’s high standing within EHEDG and his considerable knowledge to lead the inaugural EHEDG Advanced course in NZ. The course was fittingly held at the not for profit Food Innovation Network pilot scale food manufacturing facility in Auckland. 

Nineteen delegates attended the packed 3-day course representing the following sectors: 

  • 6 Food Manufacturing 
  • 1 Pharmaceutical Industry 
  • 6 Equipment Suppliers (including 2 from Australia) 
  • 6 Service Suppliers 

The course was well received with a lot of lively discussion driven by Andy. Two of the delegates from this course, David Lowry and Shane Mason used this course as the stepping stone to become Certified EHEDG Trainers based in New Zealand.
