Our regional section member Roland Cocker is just back from a great 2-day meeting of the EHEDG Valves-workgroup in Frankfurt, attended by most of the key Europeanmanufacturers of hygienic valves. 
They discussed peer-review feedback on the draft of the updated guideline 20: "Hygienic Design and Safe Use of Mixproof Valves" and the draft of the new guideline 65: "Sampling Systems for Representative Liquid Sampling.", both of these are nearing publication. 
Then they started outlining (introduction, scope, performance requirements, functional specifications and design-specification) for a future guideline on aseptic barrier-valves.
