Recap: Workshop Practical Approach to Hygienic Design in the F&B Industry
Workshop Cape Town South Africa 4 September 2024 : Hosted by EHEDG Regional Section South Africa, delegates from various sectors within the Food and Beverage Industry gained insight into Hygienic Design principles and concepts, how to incorporate Equipment Management practices into Food Safety Management Systems, EHEDG certification of equipment as well as detail from actual case studies where EHEDG published guidelines were utilized during major Design projects. Delegates were also introduced to EHEDG Guideline DOC No. 58 HYGIENIC DESIGN RISK MANAGEMENT, providing guidance on the assessment and management of hygiene risks in the context of the hygienic design of food-related buildings and equipment.
