2020 – Second Advanced Hygienic Design Course in New Zealand

The second course in NZ was ground-breaking for two reasons: The Covid epidemic had begun, and we managed to get a very short window when social gathering was allowed with distancing and masks; and Andy who was unable to fly to NZ to directly participate but oversaw Shane & David’s presentations on video at very unsociable hours for their Certified Trainer assessments. 

Nineteen delegates attended the packed 3-day course representing the following sectors: 

  • 5 Food Manufacturing 
  • 3 Regulatory / Third Party Assessors 
  • 8 Equipment Suppliers (including 1 from Australia) 
  • 3 Service Suppliers 

The course was well received with a valuable input from Andy, especially on Certification. Tow of the supplier member companies joined up as EHEDG Company members following the course and there was very food feedback on the course (and the dinner!)
