2023 – Advanced Hygienic Design Course in New Zealand
Food Companies and Equipment Suppliers again welcomed the opportunity to resume attendance to conferences and training events. The popularity of the course continued at a strong level with advance registrations and word of mouth endorsement from previous courses as well as advertising through NZIFST, EHEDG’s collaborating organisation in New Zealand.
Twenty two delegates attended the 3.5-day course representing the following sectors:
- 13 Food Manufacturing (including one from Australia)
- 9 Equipment Suppliers & Project Management Companies
- 2 Service Suppliers
Once again the there was a good mix within the food manufacturing companies including beverage, meat, seafood and dairy industries, prompting a great exchange of ideas and learnings. This course was the first to introduce the additional half-day and it proved to be very successful with the inclusion of a networking event on the first day as well as more time for discussion and introduction of some Hygienic Design Risk Management concepts fitting in with the GFSI JI & JII benchmarking releases.
