Lubricants | EHEDG Working Group Update
The EHEDG Lubricants Working Group has officially begun revising Guideline 23 Part 1 on the use of H1 & HT1 registered lubricants. This initial meeting set the foundation for crucial discussions and structured the roadmap for the work ahead.
We are pleased to announce that Patrick Steijaert (Axel Christiernsson International AB) has been nominated as co-chair, joining Taco Mets (Van Meeuwen Lubrication), who will continue in his role as chair of the working group. Their combined expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving this revision forward.
During the meeting, the team conducted an in-depth review of Guideline 23 Part 1, setting the groundwork for its revision. A face-to-face meeting is scheduled for June 17, with online sessions planned in the interim to ensure steady progress.
Once Part 1 is finalised and published, the group will begin work on Guideline 23 Part 2, which will focus on the production of H1 & HT1 food-grade registered lubricants.
With a strong commitment to collaboration and industry expertise, this working group is dedicated to enhancing best practices in lubricant use for hygienic applications.
