'ACTALIA: research, R&D and services for food safety'

Recognized by the French ministry of Agriculture and Food, ACTALIA is an expert and renowned agri-industrial technical institute.

The goal of its Food Safety department  is to provide operational solutions to assist food industry stakeholders in ensuring food safety and quality.

Through research, R&D projects, training or consulting, ACTALIA Food Safety helps improving hygiene of food processing environments and controlling hazardous contaminations of food.

Impact of processing unitary operations on the microbiological quality and safety of food: Implementation of manufacturing processes in a BSL2/3 pilot plant and measurement of microbiological contamination during processing and food product shelf life.

EHEDG AuthorisedTestingLaboratory (ATL): Testing capabilities according to EHEDG Guidelines 2, 5, 7 and 57. Cleanability assessments for equipments with in-place cleaning and open process equipments, intended to be wet cleaned

Assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning and disinfection: Implementation of In-Place and Open cleaning procedures on surfaces contaminated with allergens,  bacteria, viruses, protozoan parasites, molds and yeasts, including BSL3 pathogens
