Terms and Conditions for Congress Participants

EHEDG World Congress 2024

1. Registration

1.1 All Congress Participants must register online through the Congress website.

1.2 The registration is only valid once the registration fee has been paid in full.

1.3 The registration is personal and non-transferable.

2. Fees & Closing Dates

2.1 Congress Participant Fees

EHEDG Members Fee excl. 20 % VAT 

Booking as of January 2024 EUR 759.00  

Congress Dinner for additional Guest EUR 100.00 

Regular Fee (non-EHEDG Members) excl. 20 % VAT  

Early bird fees - before 31 May 2024 EUR 759.00 

Booking as of 01 June 2024 EUR 979.00  

Congress Dinner for additional Guest EUR 100.00 

Fee for Participants who have submitted a Poster 

EUR 595.00 excl. 20 % VAT 

* The fee applies only after the Poster has been submitted to eventsProtected mail-address@ehedg.org and approved by EHEDG Head Office in writing.

Fee for the second Participant born after 1989 (The year the EHEDG Foundation was established) 

EUR 89.00 excl. 20 % VAT 

2.2 All invoices will be issued in euros for reasons of taxation.

2.3 The Participant fee for all participants, except the second Participant born after 1989, includes participation in the congress, congress documentation download options, and all meals and drinks throughout the day, including the Congress dinner.

A limited number of full-time Students (Hygienic Design, food-related and engineering studies) are able to register for free and are subject to EHEDG approval. For further instructions please contact events@ehedg.org.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to the EHEDG Head Office via events@ehedg.org.

In the event of cancellation of participation, we will charge different processing fees, depending on the time of cancellation, as follows:

*Percentage of participation fee.

If the event must be cancelled by the Organiser, the Participation fee will be refunded in full.

4. Liability

4.1 The Organisers of the Congress accept no liability for personal injuries sustained by or for loss or damage to property belonging to Congress Participants.

4.2 The Organisers of the Congress do not accept responsibility for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property or additional expenses incurred due to unforeseen changes in the program, cancellation of the Congress, or any other unforeseeable cause.

6. Code of Conduct

6.1 All Congress Participants are expected to behave professionally and with respect towards other Participants, speakers, and staff.

6.2 Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in the Participant being asked to leave Congress without a refund.
