Today's Hygienic Design Top Tip is all about early involvement in the project, and is brought to you by Tom Waters, Food Sector Director at PM Group. To really reap the benefits derived from the application of hygienic design principles, stakeholders should start off with a constructive dialogue to identify common concerns and develop specifications. Tom is part of the EHEDG Working Group Building & Factory Design, Sub-Group Philosophy and Design Prerequisites, currently working on the revision of EHEDG Guideline 44, ‘Hygienic Design Principles for Food Factories’.
